our return policy is simple: we believe in our products and your satisfaction is guaranteed. we accept full returns of our regular priced products within 30 days of purchase.

to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.  

to request a return, simply email friends@dearpersonbehindme with the subject line “return” with your order number. upon receipt of your e-mail we will send you an address to send your return item(s) to. please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. we will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

if you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7 business of days of approval.

if you have been approved for a refund but haven’t received a credit within 7 business days of approval, please first check your bank account again.

then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

next contact your bank. there is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

exchanges

if you receive defective or damaged products, please let us know within 30 days of delivery and we will exchange your product with a brand new one.

all orders are made to order, meaning your hoodie is specifically made for you once your order is placed! it takes 2-7 business days for us to create your product and have it shipped.

the average shipping time is 5 business days depending on the delivery destination.

you may also notice slightly slower shipping and fulfillment times due to covid-19. please bear with us as we keep our employees safe and healthy. everyone working in our fulfillment center is wearing masks, observing social distancing measures, and staggering their shifts and breaks.

for returns, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. shipping costs are non-refundable. if you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

if you are shipping an item over $75, please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. we do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item
